About Allison (she/her)

I have lived in Oregon for the past twenty-three years, up and down the Willamette Valley, from Eugene to Dallas to the Portland metro area. I love the casual environment and gorgeous natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest! I was born and raised in the Baltimore-Washington area of Maryland and have also lived in North Carolina, Atlanta, Missouri, Arizona, Los Angeles, Seattle, and England. I am married and have two teenagers plus a dog. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, baking, puzzles, kayaking, photography, hiking, and traveling.

Training and Qualifications

I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University, am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers. I have 17 years of experience in a variety of settings including the college counseling center, community college, community mental health clinics, parenting groups, and hospitals. I also have lived experience with divorced parents, cross-racial adopted siblings, cancer support, and fertility challenges. I am a proud generalist and enjoy working with diverse people and presenting concerns.
